My Story

Hello! How are you? I hope you are fine. I would like to start my letter asking for your prayers for my father because he is suffering from pain in his arm. He suffered a car accident years ago and he thinks it is still affecting him; he has not visited a doctor. Due to this situation, my father only works as a farmer and day laborer 2 or 3 day per week. On the other hand, my mother is in good health. She is a housewife and raises hens for selling and improving our income; some hens are also for our consumption. She had the opportunity to be part of the feeding program when she was a child, and she remembers that she attended the discipleship classes; they were good moments for her. It was a nice experience for her, so it motivated her to register me at the program. 

As you know, I do not attend school due to our low resources. I now sometimes work as a shepherd, and I use the money to buy my personal things. In my free time, I help to gather firewood for our use. The weather is hot where I live, and I like it. I am 15 years old, and I have attended the feeding program for many years. I would like to become more involved in my church’s youth activities. As a family, we are attending Prince of Peace Church, and I like it because we learn about God’s word. We believe in God’s promises and His salvation. My father helped me with this letter for you, and we are thankful with LW Evangelism team for their encouraging words.
