Hello! I am so happy to greet you through this letter. My name is Wilsson Yenser Quino Mejia and I hope you are doing well along with your family. I am nine years old and currently, I am enrolled in first grade. I attend classes for three hours and turn in homework on Mondays and Wednesdays. This study method has been difficult for me because I think that I do not learn my lessons well. I want to tell you that my father does not live with us because he abandoned us about eight months ago. He left with another woman. Occasionally, he helps us economically; he works in a store located in Guatemala City. So, my mother struggles a lot to give my brother and me the best; she works doing the chores and raising some hens and pigs for selling to sustain our family.
The pandemic has affected us a lot because my father was unemployed and he was not able to support us. Fortunately, my mother sold some domestic animals that she had in order to cover our expenses. Despite these difficult times, God has shown us His mercy through our daily bread. We have received grocery bags from Living Water which help us with the food expenses for the week. So, I am so grateful to you for your support because it has meant a great blessing for my whole family and me. Thankfully, none of us has gotten Covid-19 and we are all in good health. We are members of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal group and our services are for three hours on Mondays and Thursdays. Finally, let me tell you that my mother assisted a member of the Evangelism team to update this information about me by phone, since the staff want to protect us from the current pandemic. This is all for now, but if you want to know something else about my life, feel free to ask me.
Sending you huge hugs,
Wilsson Yenser Quino Mejia
