My Story

Receive special regards from your sponsored child, Maria Morente Garcia. How are you doing? I want you to know that fortunately, my whole family and I are healthy. I am 18 years old and dedicate myself to doing the household chores alongside my oldest sister to help my mother. I usually wash the dishes and fold the clothes or wash them. I have attended the feeding program for about fourteen years. Since then, I like participating in the bible classes to improve my relationship with God. I like the cold weather because I like wearing my favorite sweaters.

About my family, I tell you that everybody is doing well. My father works hard as a day laborer to provide us with the essentials, while my mother keeps busy with the household chores and taking care of my young sister. We are members of the Catholic Church. What motivates us to go there is learning about how to live according to God’s will by means of the gospel. We are assured of getting into Heaven because Jesus Christ died on a cross so that everybody was saved. To end this letter, I thank you so much for being my sponsor and blessing my life with delicious food and medicine through LW-Adopt A Child. May the Lord bless you, keep you safe, and make his face shine upon you!
