My Story

I excitedly say hello to you through this letter. This is Juliana, and I hope you are having a blessed day with your loved ones. I want you to know I am part of The Prince of Peace Church. My family and I usually attend our services on Mondays and Wednesdays. The Lord has been merciful with us all the time, and as proof of that, I can receive tasty food and medicines at the feeding program. This project has been a blessing because I can also listen to God’s news. A member of the LW staff spoke to me to collect my last news for you. He encouraged me to continue growing in God’s wisdom. My father works hard in the field to support our family. His name is Alejandro Sajbin, and he is 52 years old. My mother is a hardworking housewife who raises sheep, cows, and hens to sell and get an extra income to help with the expenses. Her name is Candelaria Mendez, and she is 50 years old.

Our economic resources are lower, so we have trouble buying food supplies like corn. However, we do our best at home by growing corn for our own consumption. My parents are healthy, fortunately, and so am I. My fifteenth birthday was in November, but I could not celebrate my birthday because of our economic situation. Nowadays, I help my mother with the chores at home. I look forward to having my own grocery store; I hope to accomplish it someday. Christmas is a lovely time because we take advantage of this to visit our loved ones, so I love it. My favorite drink is Coca-Cola, and I like soccer. This is all for now, but before I finish, I want you to know that I appreciate you taking the time to read this update.

Sincerely yours,

Juliana Sajbin Mendez
