I am Liria, and I am excited to share my last news with you. I hope this finds you doing well wherever you are. I live with my parents and siblings. We are members of the King of the Centuries Church. We usually attend our services twice weekly. My mother, Rosa Ruiz, is 33 years old. She is a housewife and keeps busy raising our pigs and hens. My father makes a living as a farmer and grows corn and beans for our consumption. Our resources are lower, but we try to get extra income by traveling to the coast to work during the coffee harvest together. Our priorities are corn, spaghetti, rice, and sugar. Thankfully, my family and I are in good health. I am fifteen years old, and I no longer attend school. Nowadays, I help my mother to do household chores, but I would like to work as a domestic employee someday.
I know a little Spanish, but I would like to learn more about it to speak that language fluently. My favorite season is Christmas because I enjoy eating tamales with my family. I like drinking Incaparina (a typical hot beverage), and my favorite sport is track and field. Something that I love the most is having a delicious cake to celebrate my birthday. Now, I want to tell you a little about the feeding program. I praise the Lord because my younger siblings and I are members of LW. This has been a huge blessing because of the tasty food. Besides that, I have listened to the gospel there. A teacher of the evangelism team encouraged me to continue loving the Almighty while he collected this information for you. I leave you now, but I appreciate you taking the time to read my letter.
With much love,
Liria Cristina Yolanda Simaj Ruiz
