This is Sabina Alvarado Morente, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We have stopped attending church this year due to the lack of time, so the LW Evangelism team encouraged us to seek a church again; we hope to do it soon. We raise hens, sheep and pigs for selling, and we also grow corn but it is for our consumption. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries like corn. My father’s name is Pedro. He is 68 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a farmer and day laborer. My mother’s name is Dominga. She is 64 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and looks after the family.
Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 19 years old, and I am healthy. I stay at home helping my mother with the chores. There are times that I go to work in a tortillas business in Guatemala City in order to help my family financially. I want to become a merchant when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because we eat “tamales”. I usually eat cake for my birthday. I like running, and I love drinking sodas like Coca-Cola. I want to improve my Spanish since I speak Quiche dialect as my first language. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for all the support received. I hope to hear from you soon.
All the best
