My Story

Hello! how are you? It is my pleasure to send you my updated information and I hope you and yours are doing fine. This is Erika Maribel Gutierrez Garcia and I am pleased to be able to support my family with the money I earn by embroidering typical clothing and selling it. Thanks to the Lord, my family and I are doing fine and in good health. My father Santos continues earning a living by working as a day laborer and he does farming jobs while my mother Rufina does the housework and is taking care of the family. I have a good emotional connection with her because she is present in my life all the time. In addition, she weaves and sells typical bags in order to support my father with the home expenses.

We belong to the Christian Life Church and we like to participate in the anniversary of our church. Jesus is the son of God and he gave his life for us. My best friend is Juana Angelica and we like to attend the Feeding Program together. We have been friends since we were younger.  I am a twenty-one-year-old girl.
