Hello! My name is Adriano Cania. I am 13 years old, and my birthday is on September 1st. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is blue, and my future dream is to become a mechanic and fix cars. I see myself working in a car service in the future and making income to provide for my whole family. I go to school in eighth grade and enjoy the time I spend there with my classmates and friends, learning and spending time playing after the lessons. My friends and I play football in the sport field of the school, because there are no other places in our village to play this game. The subject I enjoy at school and where I get more involved is the physical education hour. During this time, we receive training in different sports and we play football. After school I eat lunch and go outside to spend time with my friends. We take walks, and afterwards, we sit and spend time checking social networks and comment on reals and photos posted from our close friends. The weather is nice and sunny, and we get to play for longer outside. I try my best to help my family with all that can offer to do around. Our family lives in a village near the town of Prrenjas. Our house is in good condition. We can visit the town of Prrenjas often, since it is very near and I like to go there especially on weekends, when they have the open market day. I have five members in my family, who are my parents, my older brother and sister, as well as I. My sister is staying very close to my mother and looking after her during the day. My mother has problems with her kidneys and she is on medication. For this reason, my sister does what my mother is not able to do around the house, due to her health condition. Last year my father used to work in the village mine, collecting chrome. He quit this job and is now working in Northern Macedonia. He is hired to do different jobs, according to seasons. Sometimes, he works in construction and sometime in agriculture. He works there and comes back on the same day. Northern Macedonia is very near to our location, so my father can come home. My father has his own car and he goes to Northern Macedonia to work and he has the transportation problem solved this way. During this year, my parents decided to quit dealing with farming, so they have not planted vegetables or other crops in our land. My father works full time, and he manages to provide all that is needed in our family. We are still living with low income and many things that are needed are missing. I am thankful to the program of Adopt a Child for the food packages that they provide for me every two months. I frequent the Bible classes, church services and the other activities that the church organizes. The Adopt a Child provides free medical and dental care, once every year and I am happy to go to the dentist when the team appoints me to go to the dental clinic. Thank you from my heart for all your care and support. God bless you!
