My Story

This is Jonathan Alexander Mendez, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are not attending a church, so LW Evangelism team has shared the gospel with us and encouraged us to seek God in a church. We raise hens and grow corn for our consumption. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries and clothes. My stepfather’s name is Carlos, and he is in good health. He works as a farmer and day laborer to support the family. My mother’s name is Olga, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and looks after our domestic animals.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 11 years old, and I am healthy. I am in first grade this year, and I am happy to receive face-to-face classes. It has been difficult for my parents to cover my school expenses because they do not have stable jobs. I want to become a mechanic when I am older. My favorite season is winter because I like playing under the rain. We do not have the custom to celebrate our birthdays due to our low resources. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking fruit juice. I would like to learn the English language. Living Water is very important in my life, and I am grateful for the delicious food and medicine for free. I hope to hear from you soon.
