My Story

Hello! I want to start this letter by giving you thanks for taking the time to read my latest news. I am Carlos Eduardo Grave Toj and I am glad to attend the feeding program because it has been a great blessing not only for me, but for my family too. My mother enrolled me there because she wanted me to enjoy the benefits that they provide many children as she did when she was a child. She remembers that she used to attend the youth group and what she liked the most were the games they organized. Today, she is a healthy housewife and raises chickens to sell to contribute to the expenses. As you know, my father is the main supporter of our family. He continues working by building hand-dug wells.

About me, I tell you that I am 14 years old and I am in eighth grade at school. When I stay home, I usually work with my father and help him to look for firewood in a nearby ravine. I prefer hot rather than cold weather because I like drinking cold beverages. I like the ministry of worship. My family and I are members of the Good Shepherd Church and we like listening to the gospel and learning more about God’s word. I want you to know that my mother accepted Jesus in her heart a long time ago, so she does not have any doubt about her salvation. Sister Yojana (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged her to continue looking for God. This is all for now, but I hope to hear from you soon.
