My Story

This is Gerson Tomas Chitic Panjoj, and I am writing this to update my 2023 information. First, I will tell you about my family. We are still members of Assembly of God Church, and we attend the services three times a week. We have accepted Jesus in our hearts, and we are assured of our Salvation. We raise hens and pigs, and we sell some hens when we are in need of money. We grow corn, black beans, bananas, lemons, “jocotes” and peaches, and they are for our consumption. We are a humble family, and our greatest needs are groceries and clothes. My stepfather’s name is Carlos. He is 39 years old, and he is in good health. He works as a day laborer four of five days per week to support us. My mother’s name is Ana. She is 35 years old, and she is in good health too. She works hard at home and looks after us as well as our domestic animals.

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am 12 years old, and I am healthy. I am in 6^th grade, and I am happy to attend school; I am learning a lot of things. Thankfully, my parents are working hard to support me with my studies. I want to become a businesswoman when I am older. My favorite celebration is Christmas because we share “tamales” in our family, and I can light fireworks. I get happy when it is my birthday because I know that my family prepares me a special dish. I prefer soccer as a sport, and I love drinking sodas like Coca-Cola. I would like to learn English language someday. Living Water is very important in my life because I have received the necessary support. I hope to hear from you soon.
