My Story

Hello! This is Debora Nereida Garcia Yat, and I fondly greet you from the beautiful Quetzal’s land. I hope you are doing well. I am 15 years old and thankfully, I am a healthy ninth-grade student. The most challenging experience that I have had was my brother’s surgery. He used to suffer from tonsillitis. Even though we were afraid of it, we trusted in God and He gave us the hope and peace when we needed it the most. Thankfully, everything went well during the surgery. That was about one year ago. If you ask me who Jesus is to me, I will say He is my Savior and Heavenly Father. I enjoy hearing about him and attending the vigils at my church alongside my family.

Let me tell you that My mom is a housewife and contributes to the expenses by selling homemade snacks at school. I like how she lovingly teaches me to be a valuable woman. I want you to know that she helped me write this letter for you. My father is a hardworking mason. He usually works from Monday to Saturday. Thankfully, my parents are doing well. To end this letter, I want to tell you about my best friend. Her name is Laura, and I met her many years ago. We enjoy talking and playing soccer when get together. See you later!
