My Story

Hello! I am Juan Carlos, and it is a blessing to greet you through this letter. I hope you find it engaging. I attend the Catholic Church twice weekly with my family; we are sure about our salvation. Thanks to God's mercy, my family and I have received so much help at the feeding program. In addition, the staff encouraged us to continue trusting in the Almighty while they collected my last news for you. My father is Sebastian Sicajau; he still lives and works in the United States. He supports our needs by looking after pigs on a farm. My mother is Victoria Ruiz, and she also works hard at home and sells bananas, corn, and domestic animals to get extra income. We raise hens, a few sheep, and cows. Thankfully, my whole family and I are healthy.

I just turned sixteen in May. What I love the most is having a delicious cake to celebrate my birthday with my family. Nowadays, I help my mother to look after my cows, but I would like to dedicate my time to another thing. I want to become a policeman; I hope to accomplish it soon. I also would like to learn how to speak Spanish. My native language is the Quiche dialect. Holy Week is my favorite because my family and I relax and visit lovely places. I love drinking Tampico (a typical orange beverage) and I like soccer. This is all for now, but I wish you the best.
