This is Fernando Jose David Gutierrez Toj and I am glad to share my updated information with you. I am 16 years old and luckily, I am in good health. My family and I have passed through ups and downs, but despite that I have been able to continue studying. That is the most satisfying experience I have had in my life. I am in ninth grade now. I also work alongside my father by farming the land on weekends. Let me tell you that I get along so well with my nephew, Pedro, that I consider him my best friend. When we gather, we usually go for walks and play soccer.
I am glad because my family is doing well. My father makes a living as a farmer and day laborer. He is also a “marimbista” (he can play the marimba). On the other hand, my mom raises some chickens, pigs, and cows. God blesses you and supplies to sell. I identify with my parents because they strive to move forward every single day. I know Jesus is God’s son, but I do not attend a church because my family and I practice the Mayan traditions. A member of the LW-evangelism team shared the gospel with my mom and me recently as an encouragement to seek the Lord. We appreciate the time he dedicated to us. I will leave you now, but I want you to know that we provided all this information to LW just for you. Have a good day!
Sincerely yours,
Fernando Jose David Gutierrez Toj
