My Story

It is a beautiful day to say hello to you and I hope you are receiving many blessings from God! I am so happy to tell you that my family and I attend a Christian Church; and we go three days per week. This time LW staff gave us encouraging words to continue seeking God and trust our salvation in Him. I am so thankful to God because my family and I are healthy. My mother is Marta Lucia de la Cruz Hernandez, and she is 40 years old. She is a domestic employee and tries to contribute to the income. Moreover, she raises hens. My father is Narciso de la Cruz Musia, and he is 45 years old. He works as a construction assistant to support our family. At home, we grow corn and have a mango tree for the family's consumption.

I am Ever Gustavo De La Cruz De La Cruz, and I am a 15-year-old boy. I am a ninth-grade student; I like to attend school because I can meet other friends and play in the break. I thank my parents for the effort they make so I can attend school, although they do not earn very much. I want to continue with my studies because I would like to be an electrician, and then get a good job. The language I would like to learn is English; it is so interesting. My favorite drink is lemonade because it is delicious. My favorite sports are football and basketball. I like firecrackers; I light some of them at Christmas time, and my parents buy me new clothes. At home, my family prepares a small party to celebrate my birthday; I love it. Being part of Living Water is a big blessing for me because I receive tasty meals and medical care in the clinics which is so helpful for me and my family. Hoping you like my letter and that I hear from you very soon. Many and rich blessings to you!

Special regards,

Ever Gustavo De La Cruz De La Cruz
