My Story

Special regards from Cuatro Caminos! I hope this information letter finds you keeping well. I am so happy to tell you that I have attended the feeding program for about ten years. My parents enrolled me in LW-Adopt A Child because they heard that this organization provides children with food and spiritual life, which has been a great blessing. I am Lester Geovany Grave De La Cruz and I am 16 years old. Fortunately, I am in good health and I prefer hot weather because I like going to the river. I am dedicated to looking after the chickens that my mother raises and sells to help my father with the expenses. While we keep busy at home, my father works as a day laborer and farmer.

Thanks to the Lord’s care, nobody in my family is sick. I want you to know that I have the privilege of serving in the worship ministry of my church by playing the guitar. We are a Catholic family and we are glad to learn mo

re about our Lord and Savior at church. Sister Yojana (a member of the LW staff) recently encouraged my mother to keep going in her faith since she is assured about being admitted into Heaven. It is time to say goodbye, but I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family and me so that God keeps us healthy.
