My Story

Hello! It is a pleasure to greet you by this letter hoping you are blessed and doing fine. I am Estela Morente Quino and I am 18 years old. I am so happy to be sharing with you a little about my family and me. Actually, we continue attending Triune God Church once a week. LW evangelism team shared the Gospel with us, so we are sure that we have God in our lives. My mother is Maria Quino Quino and she is 34 years old. She is a housewife and she continues raising hens, and turkeys for selling to get some income. Moreover, we grow corn and “guisquil” (it is a kind of vegetable) for our consumption. My father is Agustin Morente Ajqui and he is 34 years old. He earns a living by working as a day laborer two or three days per week. Thankfully my family is in good health.

Actually, I am helping my mother with chores at home, but I would like to work in a tortillas business in the future. Thank God my parents are making an effort to support my siblings at school in spite of the lack of work in the village. Nowadays, school supplies are expensive, but they are covering the expenses. My favorite season of the year is winter because the fields turn green, so the animals have more grass to eat. I like to drink Coca-Cola. What I love about my birthday day is getting up early and cooking a delicious breakfast by myself. I do not have a favorite sport, but I enjoy going for walks. Let me tell you that my family is so grateful to you and to LW because our lives have been blessed with the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. As a big family, our priority needs are corn, groceries, and some personal hygiene items.  I hope you like my letter.  Blessings to you!

Warm wishes,

Estela Morente Quino
