My Story

Dear Sponsor,

Hello Sponsor! How are you? I hope you are in good health and together with your loved ones. I send you many greetings. I am very excited to write this letter and tell you news about my family and me. I live with my parents. My father travel to work by cutting sugar cane on the coast, and sometimes, he also works as a farmer for other people. My mother works hard at home and takes care of my little sister. I love my parents because they make the effort to cover the family´s living expenses. Thanks to God my family and I are in good health. This year, I am in fifth grade. I like attending school. My favorite class in school is Mathematics. When I grow up, I would like to become a teacher. Please, I ask for your prayers so that God can provide us with what is necessary to achieve my dream. After classes, I help to look after two cows that we have. I also farm corn. I enjoy good moments with my family for Christmas because we celebrate it. We prepare “tamales” (a typical meal made with corn dough, meat and tomato sauce) we burn firecrackers, we share time together and we have a lot of fun.

My family and I attend Catholic Church where I like singng praises. Please, I ask for your prayers that God will keep my family and me safe and in good health, and also so that I can do well in my studies. I will pray for you. I principally thank God because He has put in your heart the desire to sponsor me and help me through the LW. I also want to thank you for your Christmas gift that I received in the Feeding Program; it has been a great blessing for me and my family. I love you so much and I would like to hear from you soon. I pray God multiplies back to you all that you are doing for me. May God pour out many blessings upon you!

Many kisses and huge hugs for you
